Anne understands from her own experiences how difficult life can be and that no two people are the same. We all face unique problems and challenges and we all react in different ways.
Common problems that we experience could be a lack of confidence or self-esteem, feelings of “I’m not good enough” or “not worthy”. Many of these beliefs are created in childhood and they are simple not true any more. Sometimes we are not even consciously aware of what makes us unhappy or holds us back. “You are unique”.
There are a number of approaches that we can use depending on your particular problems, for example you may want to change a negative behaviour and replace it with a positive one such as smoking or over eating. Perhaps you have a fear or phobia that you would like to overcome such as flying, snakes or spiders. Or you may want to increase your productivity or prepare for a test or exam such as a driving test.
It may be that you have a negative belief about yourself that you would like to change such as believing that you “are a failure” to a belief that you “can achieve”. It may be that you feel stuck in a job or relationship and can’t see a way out of it to wanting to feel that you have choices and can explore these alternatives.
We all go through difficult periods in our lives such as:
- Bereavement and loss
- Redundancy and career change
- Depression, anxiety, stress, general unhappiness
- Lack of self-esteem, confidence, belief and acceptance of yourself
- Lethargy, mood swings, lack of energy and motivation
